7 Ways to Stay Consistent with A Catholic Social Media Presence
Let me level set with you - although I am in marketing and have been in marketing for the past 15 years, I do NOT like social media. I wish I was one of those people that finds a creative enjoyment out of posting the latest trend, doing the cool dance, or showing an inside look at my life and sharing my heart. If that is you - then teach me your ways!!! But if I had to guess…if you’re reading this, you and I might be apart of the same “social media frustration” club. I’ve realized over the years how sharing on social does not come naturally to me, but with the 15 years under my belt, I’m more and more okay with social media not being my super power.
Although I don’t love it, I know I need to find a way to stay consistent and keep showing up…regardless of how I feel about it. So with that, I wanted to share the 7 ways I stay consistent with my own social media presence. These 7 ways help me take the feelings and emotions out of social media and help me to just get the work done and move on to the areas of my business that I enjoy. So without further delay, check out these techniques and let me know what you do to help you stay consistent.

Decide what is doable for you in your current season. Maybe it’s only posting 2 times a week - that is ok! Decide on an amount and block out time to make it happen. It’s important to show up in a consistent way to help build trust with your audience.
Don’t let perfectionism be the road block to progress. Since posts on social media have a very short shelf life, don’t spend hours fine-tuning a reel or carousel design. Get it out the door and call it a day.
Keep your message clear: Keep your writing straightforward and clear as to what you want your audience to learn.
